Privacy policy

Short version: we collect as close to nothing as we can get away with.

The app

S-Convert runs entirely on your Mac. Your samples, library index, tags and projects never leave your machine. The app contacts the internet for exactly one thing: validating your license key with our payment provider (Polar) at activation and roughly every 90 days after. That request contains your license key and a device label — no audio, no file names, no usage analytics.

Purchases

Checkout and payment are handled by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record; we receive your email address and order details so we can issue your license and help with support. We never see your card number. See Polar's privacy policy for their handling.

This website

No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics cookies, no mailing list. Embedded YouTube videos load through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player.
