License terms
The license
Buying S-Convert grants you a personal, non-transferable license to run the app on up to 2 Macs you own or control. You can move machines anytime by deactivating one in your license portal. Keys are per-person, not per-studio — please don't share them; the activation limit exists so honest people don't subsidize the rest.
Purchases
Sales are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record, and their checkout terms apply to payment and taxes. Not sure the app fits your setup? Ask before you buy — we'll tell you straight.
Updates
Your license includes all 1.x updates. We may offer paid major upgrades in the future; you keep what you bought either way.
The honest disclaimers
S-Convert is provided as-is, without warranty. It writes disk images for decades-old hardware with wildly varying condition — always keep backups of irreplaceable disks and data. S-Convert is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Akai or any hardware manufacturer named on this site; model names are used to describe compatibility only.
